I'm writing for Wild Cards!

In case you missed it, I'm going to be writing a story set in the Wild Cards universe for their new book called: KNAVES OVER QUEENS.

The book is set in the UK and features stories that run from 1946 to the present day.

For those of you who don't know, Wild Cards is a super hero universe which has been running since forever* and has twenty six volumes published at present (find out more here). It's masterminded by George R.R.** Martin and Melinda Snodgrass, and has had a whole constellation of fab writers contributing to it over the years.

There's a full announcement about it on George's Livejournal.

Alas, there is no official publication date yet but it'll be brought to you by Tor in the US and Harper Voyager in the UK.

It'll also be the first book published to contain stories written by me and Emma!💖💖💖💖 The full list of contributors to KNAVES OVER QUEENS is below, check them out:

Kevin Andrew Murphy
Peadar O Guilin
Caroline Spector
Paul Cornell
Charles Stross
Marko Kloos
Peter Newman
Melinda M. Snodgrass
Emma Newman

Tea & Jeopardy Episode 5 – A chat with Dave Bradley

teaandjeopardy_300We’re onto episode five already and I’ve been a little remiss in shouting about the last four episodes. So far the intrepid Chuck Wendig (Ep1), Sarah Pinborough (Ep2), Paul Cornell (Ep3) and Jennifer Udden (Ep4) have found their way into the tea lair.

This week sees Dave Bradley (of SFX fame) on an airship, dealing with a robot butler and talking about Neil Gaiman, Iron Man 3 and the joy of the ZX Spectrum, among other things. Check it out here.

And, because nothing is perfect, here’s the link to the Episode 5 bloopers (warning: contains swearing.)

Enjoy!
